Qucamba Reports: transfer your company’s licence

Move from your company’s Qucamba Reports licence to AL Report Creator in a few steps.

What does licence migration mean?

Does your company have a Qucamba Reports licence with active maintenance? Transferring it lets your company use AL Report Creator free of charge through the recorded maintenance end date. The follow-up offer selected for your company applies afterwards. This transfers licence benefits to your company account; it does not automatically change existing reports.

What you need

  • Your company’s licence number and the postal code recorded for that company licence, including leading zeroes.
  • Access to an email address with the same complete domain as the original licence. For example, anna@company.com and ben@company.com match; ben@team.company.com does not.
  • Your company must be registered with AL Report Creator and approved to use the service. Sign in with your own user account, with a confirmed email address and membership of that company. Your user account needs the Purchase credits permission. This permission also covers subscription selection and licence transfers, including choosing FREE. The account Owner always has this permission; other users can be granted it through user management. If it is missing, contact the person responsible for user management in your company. Register your company only once; invite additional developers.

Transfer in five steps

  1. Sign in to the customer portal. Open Licence transfer / License transfer. This entry is available to accounts with a matching email domain before a transfer is assigned.
  2. Enter your company’s licence number, a matching business email address and the postal code recorded for the licence, then choose Verify license.
  3. Open the email confirmation link within 20 minutes, while signed in with the same user account that requested verification.
  4. Select your company’s follow-up offer: FREE without a paid subscription, or an available monthly or annual subscription. Review the displayed terms and confirm your selection. A paid offer also requires completing checkout with a payment method.
  5. Under Subscription, check that your maintenance benefits are active and the end date and follow-up offer are correct. Email confirmation alone does not complete the transfer.

During and after maintenance

All services are free through the displayed maintenance end date, inclusive, using the Europe/Berlin time zone. The change takes effect at the start of the following day. Comparison credits help estimate future usage; they are neither deducted nor billed retrospectively.

Manage your company’s follow-up offer under Subscription. Cancelling paid renewal during maintenance preserves already activated maintenance benefits through their end date. Afterwards, the selected offer's terms apply. With FREE, the first regular free credit period starts after maintenance; normal credit expiry rules apply again.

If you cannot complete the transfer

If the menu entry is missing or verification fails, check the email domain and original licence details and ask the provider to review any discrepancy. Each licence can belong to only one company, and each company can transfer only one licence. An existing paid subscription must be resolved with the provider first. Request verification again if the confirmation link has expired.
